03.21.09_Varina & Michael are Engaged.
I had a lovely, albeit chilly, engagement shoot with Varina and Miachael last week. The couple, who live in Florida, were up for anything and what a trooper Varina was! She showed up in this fabulous (yet spaghetti-strapped) dress and was willing to let me drag her all over Beacon Hill to get some great shots!
Here are a couple of my favorites for a sneak peek! Hope to have the entire gallery up later this week.
So, Varina is my dream client...she showed up looking great (hair & make-up done AND in a cute dress) but also brought this fun parasol to play with. I have some more traditional shots too but I loved this one of her peeking out through the parasol's lace.

We're busy having a great time on vacation but I did get a chance to play a little behind the camera on Tuesday with my sister Molly and her daughter Lilly. Here's one of my favorites of Lilly.
We also had OUR family portrait taken...an exercise that is important for ANY professional photographer! Gives me a WHOLE new appreciation for my clients and what they go through when I photograph them and their families! If you'd like a peek at that shoot, check out my new Facebook profile picture!
